Ancient wisdom, accessible to everyone
Guru's Adda is a digital platform dedicated to making the profound wisdom of ancient Indian spiritual scriptures accessible to seekers everywhere. We present the original texts alongside Hindi translations and meanings, enabling deep study of these timeless teachings.
Our library currently includes four foundational texts:
18 chapters, 674 verses — Lord Krishna's teachings to Arjuna on duty, devotion, and self-realization.
14 skandhas, 337 chapters, 13,756 verses — Stories of Lord Vishnu and the divine play of creation.
76 sections, 578 verses — Adi Shankaracharya's treatise on Advaita Vedanta and self-inquiry.
7 prakaranas, 637 sargas, 19,240 verses — Sage Vashistha's teachings to Lord Rama on consciousness and liberation.
Our chatbot is powered by advanced AI and retrieves answers strictly from the scripture texts. It supports three modes:
Quick, concise answers in 3-5 paragraphs. Best for straightforward questions.
Structured responses with headers, tables, and detailed insights from 5 sources.
Deep scholarly analysis with cross-references across 8 sources for academic study.
Guru's Adda uses a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipeline: scripture texts are chunked, embedded into a vector database, and retrieved in real time to ground the AI's responses in the actual source material — ensuring accuracy and authenticity.
